Podcast // Jordan Roddy of Bespoke Motor Cars on GT3 racing
Melbourne’s Jordan Roddy joined us for Episode 2 of the podcast, where gave us the complete story of how he found, bought and rebuilt a disassembled Jaguar XJR-15. In this episode he joins us again, in lockdown for a second time, to tell us what he’s been up to and to discuss the differences between different generations of GT3 cars. Using his experience of owning, rebuilding and driving a Prodrive-built Aston Martin DBRS9 and a Michelotto-built Ferrari 458 Italia GT3, Jordy compares and contrasts and tells us why modern GT4 cars are closer in spirit to how GT3 used to be. For those with a even a passing interest in modern GT racing, it’s a fascinating chat.
